Creating options under constraint.

Perfect conditions are rare.
What can you do with what you have?

Why it matters

Limits don't kill ideas. They sharpen them.

Plans are drawn in pencil, and reality holds the eraser. What counts is the next move. When the obvious road fades, you look for a second and a third instead of settling for "we can't."

While filming Jaws, the mechanical shark kept breaking down in the salt water. Steven Spielberg couldn't rely on showing it, so he hinted at it instead, with floating barrels, shots from the shark's point of view, and a simple, menacing score. Hiding the shark made it far more frightening, and the film became a classic. Limits don't smother creativity. They sharpen it.

This skill grows when the first plan falls apart and the clock won't wait. It turns "we're stuck" into "here's how," at work and in life.
